During the summer, dogs can be washed in, among other places.

• Tervakoskella Tietyn venerannassa
• Tervakoskella Tammirannan rantareitin varrella sijaitsevaan Savilahden kärjessä (uitto paikassa jossa ei ole venepaikkoja)
• Turengissa Ahilammella Pumppukopin rannassa (ei uimarannassa)

Dogs can also be washed in all other places that are not public swimming beaches. According to the order law, dogs are not allowed on public swimming beaches and playgrounds.

When washing a dog, other people should be considered, and waste should be responsibly managed in accordance with the order law.

If blue-green algae, or cyanobacteria, is visible in the lake water, it is not advisable to let the dog go to the shore.
