Kyteri 1
Kyteri I is the first part of a residential area built to the east of Turenki and is located along Lammintie opposite the completed area of Pirttimäki. In the zoning area, there are 28 detached house plots, 3 semi-detached house plots, and 2 row house plots. The average plot size for detached houses is 1265 m² and for semi-detached houses 1620 m². A few detached house plots and a semi-detached house plot are still available. The prices for the plots are 20 €/m².

The blocks are located between Lammintie and an east-west oriented recreational area. The block structure is compact. The row house plots are situated along Lammintie and the detached house plots are set further from the road. There is one vehicle access point from Lammintie, and there is no through traffic to other areas. On the south side of Lammintie, there is a completed pedestrian path to the center. Additionally, there is a peaceful connection to the center and primary school through the older detached house area.
The streets are named after old yard games. The main road connecting to Lammintie is Keinulaudanraitti. Other street names are Vinkintie, Hippaspolku, and Pelipihanpolku.
Recreation and play areas
The Kyteri area offers good opportunities for everyday exercise. Pathways are connected to outdoor trails and illuminated ski tracks. A central recreational area will extend from the vicinity of Lastujärvi following the stream of Myllyoja towards Lammintie. This ‘central park’ will connect with the northern recreational pathway of the Kyteri I zoning plan in an east-west orientation. The area is currently open farmland.
Moisio playground and ball field are about 1 km away from the area, and Heikkilä playground is about ½ km south of Lammintie. A playground and possible sports fields that will serve this area well will be built later in the northern-southern green area.
Services
The area relies on the services of Turenki’s center. The distance to the shopping center and primary school is about 1 km. The nearest daycare is about 1 km away. The placement of a senior assisted living facility, Kyterinhovi, in the middle of a conventional residential area enriches the area both functionally and visually.
