Property water supply responsibility
The property’s water supply lot connections are the responsibility of the property owner. The exact connection point or responsibility boundary is defined in the connection agreement made with each property owner. According to the water utility’s general terms of delivery, the responsibility boundaries are as follows, unless otherwise specified in the property’s connection agreement: For the water main, the responsibility boundary is at the connection point of the main water pipe. For wastewater and stormwater drainage, the responsibility boundary is at the connection pit of the main line. The water supply lot connections extending to the property from the responsibility boundary are the responsibility of the property owner.
Stormwater must be separated from wastewater on the property, and stormwater must not be directed into the wastewater sewer.
